Established almost 26 years ago in Singapore, Daidomon is the only Japanese Restaurant that specializes in the highest grade, premium “Wagyu” beef in Malaysia. With its first outlet debut at the Great Eastern Mall, Kuala Lumpur, offering 7,200 sq ft of gastronomic space, seven spacious VIP rooms and maximum seating capacity of about 300 pax. Daidomon is the easily the most ideal place for group bookings and annual dinners. And for seasoned Japanese delicacy epicureans, Daidomon is undoubtedly their favorite hangout.

Step into Daidomon Japanese BBQ Restaurant, the pioneers of the Japanese 3-in-1 barbecue concept, where wooden floorings lead you to counters that offer staple Japanese dishes like beef, ox tongue, salmon, sushi, and sashimi. Contemporary settings enhance appetites with tasteful dangling red lanterns that decorate the interior, giving the restaurant a warm glow while seating arrangements provide each table with its own privacy. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the restaurant is situated along the affluent stretch of Jalan Ampang inside Great Eastern Mall.

Daidomon’s extensive menu offers a wide assortment of authentic Japanese dishes, from the freshest sushi, sashimi and tempura to grilled unagi – adventurous diners may want a bowl of Shabu Shabu or slice of the restaurant’s other famous, yet bold dishes, to further their grasp of true Japanese taste buds. It also has over 100 dishes, not just BBQ items, on the buffet menu. For those who favour other meats, Daidomon also serves an appetizing array of fresh chicken, lamb, beef and ostrich. Fresh seafood of scallops, prawns, squid, salmon, butterfish and others make is a seafood lover’s paradise. To ensure every customer experiences the ultimate in Japanese dining experience, every table is equipped with state – of- the- art Japanese Thermo – Aerodynamic “Charcoal” stove technology. So customers will get the genuine taste just like the olden days.

The restaurant currently runs by Daidomon Managing Director, Mr Phua Hean Sim with his lovely wife Mrs Phua after take over this restaurant from Mr Stanley Yeoh whose father opened the original restaurant in Singapore. With 20 people over staff helping to run this restaurant daily from 11.30am until 10.00pm including Public Holiday to ensure that providing an excellence food and service is being our top priority.
